Large Group Booking FAQ:
Why is there a group size limit for rug tufting classes?
I intentionally keep tufting sessions small (max 8 participants) so everyone receives real hands-on guidance. Rug tufting involves specialized tools, technique, and close supervision. Smaller groups allow me to ensure everyone feels confident, safe, and leaves with a rug they’re genuinely proud of.
This is a quality-first experience.
Can you accommodate groups larger than 8 people?
Full rug-making workshops are limited to 8 participants at a time to maintain the level of instruction and care the process requires. However, there are a few options for larger groups:
Splitting your group into multiple sessions
Booking on separate dates
“tuft for 2” - up to 10 people
Hosting a modified creative activation or live demo instead of full rug-making (great for events)
What if we just want a fun group activity and don’t mind simpler rugs?
Even for casual experiences, tufting still involves equipment, adhesives, and technical steps that require oversight. My studio model centers care, safety, and thoughtful instruction, so group limits remain the same regardless of occasion.
What types of events work well for larger groups?
If you’re planning a corporate event, festival, or party with more than 8 people, a live tufting demo, interactive art activation, or custom installation experience may be a better fit than a full workshop. These formats allow more people to engage without sacrificing quality or safety.
Feel free to share your group size and vision and we can figure out what format fits best.
