Please note! TuftxPVD is currently located on the 3rd floor of 1155 Westminster St. Providence RI, 02909. The elevator in the building is currently not functioning. Unfortunately, ADA accessibility is limited.

• There is plenty of FREE parking available in the parking lot and street!

How do I book a class?

Workshop dates drop a MONTH IN ADVANCE! If no available dates are seen on the calendar for the current month, then we are booked up! Sorry we missed you! Join the email list for when new dates drop!

Refunds/ Reschedule

We are NOT ACCEPTING REFUNDS on workshop purchases. Class capacity is small to ensure 1 on 1 support and that you walk away with a finished piece. Your design, materials and tools are sourced and prepared prior to your class. Out of respect for studio and instructor time please do your best to make your workshop date! We work HARD to show up and be in the space. Rescheduling cannot be gaurenteed and limits spots available to the rest of the community.

• Needing to reshedule will result in a $50 re-booking fee (per person)

• Workshop dates drop a month in advance. Please plan accordingly.

• Less then 48 hr notice will result in a complete forfeit of your ticket.

Are children allowed to attend a workshop?

Workshops are currently available to those 13+ years or older. Those ages 13-17 MUST be accompanied by an adult throughout the completion of the rug. Waiver must be signed for anyone under 18. A tufting machine is a power tool! We ask that the best accommodations are made for smaller children as the studio space is a working space and can be unsafe for non- participating bodies. TUFTXPVD is NOT responsible for anyone under 18 years old.

Can I pick my own design?

Yes. Designs will be uploaded and traced onto your frame (30x30in) pre-workshop. Please ensure that the correct email is provided during checkout. TuftxPVD will reach out about image upload details via the email you provide. TuftxPVD is not currently taking digitization request.

Please Note: Instructor will email you image upload guidelines! The goal of this class is to introduce you to the art of tufting with a design that allows you to learn how to properly use the machine and complete a piece in the time allotted.

Will I be able to take my piece home same day of workshop?

Yes! Workshops have been designed to allow enough time to tuft, back, glue and lightly trim your piece. Please note, that your piece may still need to dry and highly suggest having transportation that allows your piece to lay flat during the drying process.

What happens if I don't finish my rug within the time of the workshop?

Although workshops have been designed for you to walk away with a finished piece. We get it. Dont worry. The instructor will work directly with individuals to remedy any time issues. But please note: images that do not follow the image guidelines and are more detailed and not finished in the time frame of class are welcomed back for an additional fee.

What about food during the workshop?

You are free to come and go as you please during your class. We suggest to maximize your tufting time by bringing food in with you or consider ordering straight to the studio! Light snacks and drinks will be provided to keep you going.
